Cozy Blanket Ladder

I absolutely hate when my blankets are left unfolded, hanging off the couch, or thrown on the floor! To solve this problem I came up with the perfect solution: A Blanket Ladder! I have been pretty proud of my past DIY builds, but for some reason this tops my list. With the help of my fiancĂ©, I (we)built a ladder! Not just any ladder…but a rustic, decorative, hold my cozy blankets kind of ladder!

Off AGAIN to Home Depot we go....
two 2x4 @ 8 feet
one 2x6 @ 8 feet.
Behr Dark Walnut wood stain
sixteen 3" screws
tape measure

First you need to cut the two 2x4 @ 5 ft. long and cut four 2x6 @ 17 inches long.
Next, place the first 2x6 board 3” from top. Angle the 2x6 boards so that the front corner touches the front of the 2x4 and the back corner touches the back of the 2x4.  Securely fasten the wood to the 2x4 with 3-inch screws. Repeat by spacing the remaining three boards 12” apart from each other.
To give the ladder a rustic look, Apply two coats of Behr Dark Walnut Stain. TIP: Purchase a sample size for $2- SUPERSAVE!
Once the ladder is dry, add your cozy blankets to complete The Cozy Blanket Ladder!
